W.A.S.P., the Los Angeles-based heavy metal band, released their debut, self-titled album in 1984. They had only formed two years prior, and it seemingly took them longer to solidify their lineup than it did to find a home with Capitol Records. The album went to #74 and was later certified Gold in the US and abroad. Their career has continued into the present day, and while they're not as shocking or controversial anymore they're still heavy. But it all started back in 1984. This original W.A.S.P. sleeveless shirt, nicely faded and worn, is from their 1984 Animal tour.
