Vintage Back To The Point '79 "Anti Nuclear Power Festival" T-Shirt

In 1979, a massive protest prevented Ireland from building a nuclear power plant at Cansore Point. The plans were the decade prior but were disrupted by environmental groups and activists. This was the era of Three Mile Island, and that issue resonated more than just with the anti-nuclear power protesters, eventually making the power plant an impossibility. Protesters hosted a rally they called "Back To The Point" and featured performances by Christy Moore, the Irish folk singer. This original Back To The Point anti nuclear festival from the Cansore Point protest in 1979 is in great condition.
