Platoon is a movie from 1986 written and directed by Oliver Stone, his fourth time directing a feature. Stone had made a name for himself mostly writing screenplays, but this movie, which was based on his time serving in Vietnam, was the first movie made by a veteran and served as an authentic and honest interpretation of the time. The film starred Charlie Sheen, Willem Dafoe, and Forest Whittaker and won four Academy Awards, including Best Pictures. This original Platoon shirt from 1986 is in excellent condition.
