Die Kreuzen were a punk band from Milwaukee, WI founded in 1981. They began playing a fast, dark, and chaotic brand of hardcore, helping establish the midwest sound that was featured on the Touch And Go, the label with whom they released almost all of their records. Over their decade long career, the band's sound evolved and shifted into new dimensions, and with the help of Butch Vig's recordings they expanded the boundaries of what punk could look and sound like. They broke up in 1992, going on to form other bands, but have since reunited. This original Die Kreuzen shirt from 1989, in great condition, features the art to their Gone Away 7".
