Vintage The Faith "Last Show" 1983 Space II Arcade Flyer

The Faith were a hardcore band from Washington, DC. They formed in 1981 and, while the members and the entire scene was still young, already featured members of prominent bands: singer Alec MacKaye was coming from The Untouchables as well as drummer Ivor Hanson and guitarist Michael Hampton coming from State Of Alert. Eddie Janney, also of The Untouchables, joined on second guitar a little later, and Chris Bald was on bass. The band played an aggressive style of hardcore paired with introspective lyrics that make the music feel urgent and necessary, like it had to be played or else. The Faith only lasted two years, but in that time they released the monumental split with Void and a 12" EP, Subject To Change. They broke up in 1983, playing a last show at Space II Arcade on August 17 with Youth Brigade, No Labels, Corrosion Of Conformity, and Committee For Public Safety. This original Faith flyer, in excellent condition with some marks and pinholes in the corners from thumbtacks, is from the band's final show.

Dimensions: 8.5" Wide by 11" Long
