Brazilian metal band Sepultura released Roots, their sixth album, in 1996. Sepultura was formed in 1984 by the Cavalera brothers Max and Igor and rose to popularity over the next decade with a constant flow of great records and non-stop touring to back it up. Roots was another impressive record from the Brazilians. It was certified Gold in the US, UK, Canada, and several other countries. After the release and subsequent touring, Max Cavalera left the band and went on to form Soulfly. This original two-sided Sepultura shirt, nicely worn in and faded, is from the band's 1996 tour in support of Roots.
