In 1986, The National Organization For Women held a march on Washington, the March For Women's Lives was ran both in DC and LA. It was held to support the existing abortion laws and to also vocalize opposition to an civil rights bill abortion amendment that was making its way through Congress at the time. The DC event also featured speeches from Gloria Steinem, former New York State Representative Bella Abzug, and then-NOW President Eleanor Smeal. This original March For Women's Lives shirt, nicely worn in great condition, is from the political march in 1986.
