The Who are a British rock band founded in 1964. They were an important member of the original British Invasion, releasing songs like "My Generation," "I Can See For Miles," "Baba O'Riley," and many more. The band played a their rock hard and were known for their exhilarating live shows. The Who are also important for pioneering the rock opera, of which they have released many, and for their classic mod aesthetic. They are still active to this day, despite the tragic losses of drummer Keith Moon and bassist John Entwhistle.
