The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional football team. Founded as an AFL team in 1960, the Chiefs joined the NFL in the 1970 merger. The Chiefs, who play in Kansas City, MO (not Kansas City, KS), won three AFL Championships and one Super Bowl before the merger. They won Super Bowl LIV in 2019, being led to victory by QB Patrick Mahones and coach Andy Reid.
