Vintage "Yankees Suck!" Boston Hardcore Poster

Before they became enormously popular throughout New England, the "Yankees Suck" shirt, the brainchild of a few members of the late 90s Boston hardcore scene, had its roots in DIY. The first run of shirts had the Ten Yard Fight logo on the back, and the font for the front was chosen because it was the same one that SS Decontrol used. Sold for $10 each outside Fenway, the shirts became the basis of a small empire. This poster, printed by Sully's Tees (ran by Chris Wrenn of Bridge 9 Records) advertises a later iteration of the shirt, with the exclamation point added after Suck. The poster is in good condition, though there are a few rips visible, as well as some creasing and wear from storage.

Dimensions: 24" Wide by 36" Long
