Widespread Panic are a jam band from Athens, GA founded in 1986. The group was founded by guitarist and singer John Bell, who remains the leader to this day. They are known for their southern rock-influenced jams. Like other bands of their style, their sets are long and full of improvisation, which gives the songs room to open up and the members the ability to experiment. In 2003, the band released Ball, their eighth record. The record went all the way to #61 on the Billboard Charts. It was their first to feature George McConnell on guitar after the death of Michael Houser. This original Widespread Panic shirt, in excellent condition, is from the band's 2003 tour in support of Ball.
