Vintage Weezer That Dog Black Market Flowers "Mykel, Carli And Trysta" '97 Tribute Show T-Shirt

Mykel and Carli Allan were presidents and founders of the Weezer Fan Club and close friends with the band since their earliest days. They were integral in helping establishing a connection with many other fans during the release of their debut record, the self-titled Blue Album that was released in 1994. And the feeling was mutual, as Weezer wrote and recorded the song "Mykel And Carli" about the sisters which became a B-Side for the Blue Album. Sadly, during the Pinkerton tour in 1997, Mykel and Carli, along with their younger sister Trysta, died in a car accident driving between shows in the Colorado mountains. Weezer, alongside That Dog. and Black Market Flowers played a show on August 15, 1997 to help the family pay for funeral expenses. It was the last show bassist Matt Sharp ever played with the band. The Allan sisters' passing was one of the contributing factors of Weezer's decision to go on a hiatus in 1997. This original Weezer shirt is from the Mykel, Carli, and Trysta Allan benefit show on August 15, 1997 with That Dog. and Black Market Flowers.
