Vintage War Hungry "Demo" T-Shirt

War Hungry are a hardcore band from Wilkes-Barre, PA. They were founded in 2004 and underwent many lineup changes in those early years, finding their stylistic footing while finding a consistent and steady band. But two members were always there: singer Hoodrack and drummer Kev Mook. They led the band from demos to a downtuned 7" on 1917 and eventually when they found guitarist Arthur Rizk they became a serious heavy metal-inspired, synth-laden hardcore group who put out one of the best records of the era.  Their War Is In... '04 tape is an early artifact of their sound, it featured most of the songs from their first demo re-recorded and down tuned in a proper studio. And while they were figuring out their sound they were also figuring out their aesthetic, trying out a badger mascot that they spraypainted on shirts and amps but quickly retired. This original War Hungry shirt, in great condition, was stenciled by the band in 2004 in their earliest era.
