Walking Concert was a band from New York City founded in 2003. The group was started by Walter Schreifels, who had previously played in such bands as Gorilla Biscuits, Youth Of Today, Quicksand, and Rival Schools, and he brought along drummer Drew Thomas, who was also a veteran of the NYHC and alt metal scenes having played in Bold, Youth Of Today, and Into Another, as well as Ryan Stratton and Jeffrey Johnson. The band was a departure for Schreifels, pulling from bands like British Invasion bands like The Kinks. They released Run To Be Born, their only LP, in 2004 on Some Records, which was a label named after the original NYHC record store ran by Schreifels. This original Walking Concert shirt, nicely worn with a few light marks, features the album art from their 2004 album Run To Be Born.
