Vintage Vision “In The Blink Of An Eye” T-Shirt

Vision were a hardcore band from New Jersey founded in 1988. They played a style of hardcore that was equal parts heavy and melodic. They released five albums and a few 7"s from 1989 until the early 2000s and were playing as recently as 2017 until the untimely and tragic passing of their singer Dave Franklin. There were few bands that represented New Jersey as well and did so for as long. And there are no more important records in their discography than 1989's In The Blink Of An Eye. It was originally released on Nemesis and re-released on Tacklebox in 1997. This 1989 tour shirt is perhaps the band's most iconic design. This shirt is basically the template for hardcore tees that is still followed to this day: bold simple logo on front with a crazy sick live photo and lyrics on the back. The only real stylistic predecessor would be Youth Of Today's Break Down The Walls tee from Wishingwell. This original Vision shirt from their 1989 In The Blink of An Eye tour is worn in — with wear in the pits, ink running, and some holes — but who can blame someone for wearing this shirt so much.
