Toy store chain Toys "R" Us was founded in 1957 in Rockville, MD. The store was created by Charles Lazarus. He already ran a successful store that focused on toys and children's furniture when he decided to focus solely on toys. And he was right. The chain became an international hit with more than 1,500 stores worldwide. It didn't last, sadly, as Toys "R" Us filed for bankruptcy in 2017, but the nice memories are still there. This vintage Toys "R" Us crewneck, nicely worn and faded, features a classic slogan from the brand's 80s commercials.
