Tom Savini is a jack of all trades in the horror movie world. He's most prolific as a prosthetic make up artist, a world he's been at the top of since the mid 1970s. But through his work, he also ended up acting and even directing, staying firmly within the horror world the whole time. He has won Saturn awards for Best Make-Up Effects, worked with legendary directors like George A. Romero, and been a part of some of the most important films in the genre, like Friday The 13th. Since 2000, he has all helped run Tom Savini's Special Make-Up Effects Program in Pittsburgh, PA, a two-year program. In 1998, Savini hosted a Halloween Special festival and commemorated it with a great t-shirt sporting a nefarious portrait. This original Tom Savini Halloween Special shirt is nicely faded and worn.
