After 12 years together, The Smashing Pumpkins broke up in 2000. The band had spent the entire previous decade as one of alt rock's premier groups, playing a fuzzy and aggressive style of guitar music that was still dominated by huge, melodic choruses. Thankfully for all fans worldwide, Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain reformed the band in 2006 and one year later released their seventh album Zeitgeist. The record has since been certified Gold, and the Pumpkins have remained playing ever since. This original Smashing Pumpkins shirt from 2007, nicely worn and faded in great condition, is from the Zeitgeist era.
