The Mr. T Experience was a Bay Area pop punk band founded in 1984. The band, who are still active to this day, released the majority of their still-expanding catalog on Lookout! Records, the Berkley-based label known for releasing records by bands like Green Day and Operation Ivy. MTX's lineup changed constantly but they have always been led by "Dr." Frank Portman, who now writes popular YA books.
