Vintage The Misfits "Night Of The Living Dead" T-Shirt
The Misfits are a punk band from Lodi, NJ founded in 1977 by Glenn Danzig. The band incorporated elements of 50s rock n roll, science fiction, and horror films to create something all their own, a style that was theatrically indebted to the past while being completely new. In their original run, the band released two LPs and a number of singles with a constantly-changing lineup. The Misfits were also well known for their self-run fan club they dubbed the Fiend Club, where members could get exclusive merchandise and information from the band themselves. They broke up in 1984 with Danzig going on to form Samhain and later Danzig, while Jerry Only and his brother Doyle revived the band with a new singer in the 90s. The original Misfits lineup reunited in 2016 and have been playing shows again ever since. This vintage Misfits shirt from the late 80s, with light discoloration and a small pinhole near the print, features the art from the band's fourth single Night Of The Living Dead which was originally released in 1979.
