Hardcore festivals may seem like a modern phenomena, but they existed way back in the 1990s. In 1998, The Down Side put on the Midwest Hardcore Fest, featuring bands exclusively from the midwest. The lineup was pretty stacked, too. You had Detroit's Cold As Life, Chicago's Ruined, and Indianapolis's Cry For Justice among many others. The fest happened on April 25, 1998. While there are still great midwest hardcore fests, there sure won't be another one like this one. This vintage Midwest Hardcore Fest tee, deadstock with a few marks from prolonged storage, features the lineup and a cool illustration of Juggernaut.
