Iconic British goth rockers The Cure released The Head On The Door, their sixth album, in 1985. Robert Smith and company were approaching the end of the first decade as a band and while they had found success before, they reached a new level, ultimately setting the course for the band to reach superstar status a few years later. The Head On The Door was produced by Smith and collaborator David M. Allen and charted across the globe, going to #7 in the UK. It was eventually certified Gold in the US and UK. This original Cure poster, with wear, is from the 1985 release of The Head On The Door.
