The Andrew Thomas Company was founded in Wilkes-Barre, PA in the mid 90s by Christopher Sleboda, the one-time guitarist and singer of local pop punk bandBedford in their constant-revolving door of guitarists. ATC was a DIY clothing company, complete with catalogs and everything. They mostly made shirts with simple slogans. Take this shirt for example: "straight edge means I have no friends." It looks kind of like that Outspoken shirt but funnier. It still proved to be somewhat contentious, though, as Cleveland straight edge band Committed even referenced the tee on the first track of their 1998 demo. (“'Straight edge means I have no friends?' / Well what the fuck, I guess it just depends”) Currently, Sleboda is a successful graphic designer, and is also a professor at Boston University and co-founder of Draw Down Books. These original Andrew Thomas Company catalogs are in great condition.
