Superdrag, the alt rock band from Knoxville, TN, released Head Trip In Every Key, their sophomore album, in 1996. While they had only formed a few years earlier, the four-piece had already risen to impressive heights, singing to Elektra Records and breaking into the Billboard charts. However, with their second album, despite still working with Elektra and collaborating with producer Jerry Fin, they wanted to challenge themselves and the entire industry by creating something that wasn't driven by hits. While they succeeded, the label refused to promote them, eventually dropping them. The band has continued on into the present day. This original Superdrag shirt, nicely faded and lightly worn, is from the 1998 release of Head Trip In Every Key.
