Sunny Day Real Estate, the Seattle, WA-based emo band, released Diary, their debut album, in 1994 on Sub Pop Records. The group only formed two years earlier, and in that short time they created a batch of songs that were not only good, they were important and influential. Their brand of unwieldy, emotional music helped lay a foundation that many others would build off of in the coming years. After their initial era, they split up and reformed several times, often making new music in the context, and Nate Mendel and William Goldsmith both went on to be the rhythm section of the Foo Fighters. This original Sunny Day Real Estate shirt, nicely worn and lightly faded, is from the release of 1994's Diary.
