Vintage Sunny Day Real Estate "Diary" T-Shirt

Sunny Day Real Estate were a band from Seattle, WA founded in 1992. They were important in helping found the new style of emo that became popular in the 90s, jangly and sad and melodic. They released their debut LP Diary on Sub Pop in 1994, which has since become a genre-defining album. They recorded a self-titled, sophomore LP the following year and then split up for the first time. The rhythm section, Nate Mendel and William Goldsmith, went on to join Foo Fighters while singer Jeremy Enigk went solo. They got back together in 1997 for another short stint, recording two more albums, and again to tour in 2009. This early 2000s Sunny Day Real Estate shirt, in great condition, features a detail of Chris Thompson's art.
