Vintage Straight Ahead "NYHC" T-Shirt

Straight Ahead was a hardcore band from New York City. The band formed after their previous effort NYC Mayhem, a band where SA singer Tommy Carroll played drums and sing, broke up. Tommy and bassist Craig "Ahead" Setari rounded out the new band with Armand Majidi and Rob Echeverria and continued on the sounds from Mayhem: absurdly fast and chaotic parts followed up by the hardest mosh parts you've ever heard. Straight Ahead was more in the straight edge scene, though; Tommy and Craig even played in Youth Of Today for a moment. They had positive and insightful lyrics by the looks of their live performances they really meant it. Members went on to play in such bands as Rest In Pieces, Sick Of It All, and Helmet. This vintage fan made Straight Ahead shirt from the early 2000s, in excellent condition, features the art from the band's only proper release, 1987's Breakaway
