Vintage STP "Pennee Frock" Windbreaker

STP is a motor oil company founded in 1954. The name originally stood for Scientifically Treated Petroleum, a claim that would cause the brand some headaches over the years as they were sued for false advertising on several occasions. But regardless of how they make the stuff, the brand became important and ubiquitous amongst car lovers. And that branched off into another successful and tangential venture for the oil company: motor sports. STP sponsored NASCAR driver Richard Petty starting in 1972, and the two worked together until 2000. This vintage STP windbreaker, deadstock in excellent condition, is perfect for any automotive aficionado.
