St. John's University is a private Catholic school in Queens, NY founded in 1870. The school was originally located in Brooklyn but has located in its current location since the 1950s. The school boasts a large student body and a diverse curriculum, with over 100 majors and six graduate schools. The school's athletic teams, the Red Storm, play Division I. They have been successful in many different sports men's and women's basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball teams.
