Parts of the hardcore scene in New York City in the mid to late 1980s were dependent on squats. Musicians lived in them and some of them hosted shows, making them an integral part of the scene. On Saturday June 9th, a squat at 773 East 9th St hosted crust-punk and adjacent bands like Nausea, Citizens Arrest, and Jesus Chrust. This original Squat Or Rot flyer is in great condition with horizontal creases.
