Vintage Slayer "Root Of All Evil" World Sacrifice '88 Tour T-Shirt

Slayer, the legendary thrash metal band, embarked on their World Sacrifice tour in August 1988. The tour was in support of South Of Heaven, the band's fourth album, and was at a time when the band, and the entire genre, was still continuing to rise in popularity. The tour ran from August until January of 1989 and was notable for the sheer mayhem the band encountered. There was the "seat cushion riot" at New York's Felt Forum, various riots, and arrests. And yet, Slayer only continued to become more and more legendary, the evil unleashed by Tom Araya, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman, and Dave Lombardo only becoming more nefarious. This original Slayer shirt, nicely faded and worn, is from their 1988 World Sacrifice tour in support of South of Heaven
