During the 1980s skateboard explosion, there were lots of places to get skate news. Thrasher, Transworld, and Skateboarder all had the biggest and best names, but if you were a real skate rat you weren't satiated with that. You wanted to hear about what was going on in other scenes and see what other people had to say, and so there was a massive underground fanzine network. Skate Fate was a little skate fanzine from California in the early 80s. This issue, #24, is the "illustration issue" and features an artistic take, with writing and art from Neil Blender and a drawing of Steve Caballero on the cover doing an indy air. This original copy of Skate Fate is in great condition with staining and marker on the cover.
