The San Francisco 49ers were founded in 1946, a few years before the NFL as we know it even existed. They were the first professional sports team located in San Francisco. The 49ers really found their stride in the 80s and 90s, when they nearly made yearly playoff appearances and won five Super Bowl championships. Led by Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, and Coach Bill Walsh, the 49ers were a dominant force. Since then, the Niners have had mixed results, missing the playoffs from 2002 to 2011 while going to Super Bowl LIV in February 2020. This vintage 49ers hat, in great condition with light wear to the headband, is perfect for any fan.
