Vintage San Bernardino "US '83'" Festival Raglan Shirt

US Festival held its second and final edition on Memorial Day weekend in 1983, less than a year after the inaugural edition which was held in September 1982. Founder Steve Wozniak, from Apple Computers, got together with legendary promoter Bill Graham to create a festival that focused on community as much as it did music. The 83 edition was held at Glen Helen Regional Park again and featured massive headliners like Van Halen, David Bowie, and The Clash, as well as a great crop of bands from Oingo Boingo to Ozzy Osbourne and Stevie Nicks to Stray Cats. Despite having over half a million people in attendance the organizers still lost $12 million. This original US Festival raglan, lightly worn in excellent condition, is from the final 1983 edition.
