Stormtroopers Of Death were a crossover band from New York City. The band formed as a side project to the immensely popular thrash metal band Anthrax in 1985 and featured Scott Ian on guitar, Charlie Benante on drums, and Dan Lilker on bass. The only non-Anthrax member was singer Billy Milano, he was previously in the early NYHC band The Psychos. Their debut album was satirically entitled Speak English Or Die and was released by Megaforce in 1985. It has since become to be regarded as a classic. This original S.O.D. poster, with a few pinholes, is from the release of their debut Speak English Or Die.
