Vintage Robert Crumb "Mr. Natural'" Mayo Spruce T-Shirt
R. Crumb is one of the most important comic artists. Crumb's folk-inspired, cross-hatched became the gold standard of the 60s underground and countercultural comix. He introduced the character Mr. Natural in Yarrowstalks in 1967. Crumb continued using Mr. Natural, giving him his own comics and strips, including a short run in The Village Voice. Crumb, of course, has had a long career with many more well-loved pieces of work, but Mr. Natural is still one of his most important and popular. This vintage iron on Robert Crumb shirt, lightly worn in great condition, features Mr. Natural passing time underneath some felt letters spelling "FLIP."
