Vintage Rest In Pieces "RoadRacer Records" Promo Photo

Rest In Pieces was a hardcore band form New York. The band was fronted and led by singer Armand Majidi, who also concurrently played drums in the NYHC band Straight Ahead. The lineup changed, and Craig Ahead and Rob Echeverria also came to join, so both bands shared 3/4 members. They played a metallic and moshy style of hardcore, much more midtempo and groovy than their other work, and it also featured a very present sense of humor. They released a 7" and two LPs, including Under My Skin released by Roadracer Records in 1990. Armand and Craig's other other band, Sick Of It All, began touring non-stop and Rest In Pieces called it a day. This original Rest In Pieces promotional glossy, with minor corner wear, is from the release of Under My Skin in 1990.
