Vintage R.E.M. "Green" T-shirt

R.E.M. were a rock band from Athens, GA founded in 1980 by Michael Stipe, Bill Berry, Peter Buck, and Mike Mills while they were students at the University of Georgia. The band released a slew of albums and singles on I.R.S. Records in the 80s, gaining a substantial following, before signing to Warner Bros for their 1988 album Green. The record saw the band move towards more mainstream acceptance, and would lead them into the 90s where they would take the world by storm with songs like "Losing My Religion" and "Everybody Hurts." This vintage R.E.M single stitch shirt, lightly worn and faded, is from the Green album, from when they went from college rockers to rockstars.
