R.E.M. were a rock band from Athens, GA founded in 1980 by Michael Stipe, Bill Berry, Peter Buck, and Mike Mills while they were students at the University of Georgia. The band released a slew of albums and singles on I.R.S. Records in the 80s, gaining a substantial following, before signing to Warner Bros for their 1988 album Green. The record saw the band move towards more mainstream acceptance, and would lead them into the 90s where they would take the world by storm, which began largely with the release of 1991's Out Of Time which featured the smash hit "Losing My Religion." The album won multiple Grammys and has sold over 18 million copies worldwide. This vintage R.E.M. two-sided shirt, lightly worn in great condition, features the logo from the Out Of Time album art on the front and back.
