Quicksand, the New York dissonant, metally, melodic hardcore band, released their second album Manic Compression on Island Records in 1995. They had already established themselves as one of the best bands in the scene with their Revelation 7" and debut LP Slip, and Manic just further solidified it. It was a little more melodic and a little more methodical than their previous work. The band broke up shortly after its release but reformed in 2012 and have remained active ever since. This original Quicksand poster, with a small tear in the bottom right corner but otherwise in great condition, is from the 1995 release of Manic Compression.
