Eddie Vedder was living in San Diego, CA in 1990 when he joined Pearl Jam as their singer after recording a cassette tape audition. He moved up to join the band and one year later, the Seattle group recorded their debut album Ten, which has since gone 13-times Platinum. Pearl Jam — along with their friends in Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and Mudhoney — dominated the American soundscape for the early 90s, and became one of the most popular and most respected bands in rock n roll. They took on Ticketmaster, they stood up for the West Memphis 3, but they also wrote just some good tunes. This vintage and early Pearl Jam shirt is faded and worn with a frayed collar.
