Pearl Jam formed in 1990, the third band started by guitarists Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament. They were based in Seattle, WA but their demo made its way to Eddie Vedder in San Diego, CA. At the time he was working at a gas station. A week after the band heard the demo, Vedder was flying up to audition for the band, ultimately securing his spot as singer. They quickly began working on music, with their debut album, Ten, being released the following year, the year that grunge massively broke through into the mainstream. Pearl Jam, along with many of their friends from the Seattle scene, became one of the most important bands of the entire decade. This original Pearl Jam long sleeve shirt is nicely worn with a few marks and spots.
