Eddie Vedder was living in San Diego, CA in 1990 when he landed the gig as Pearl Jam's singer after mailing in a cassette tape audition. He moved up to Seattle, WA to join the band and one year later, the group recorded their debut album Ten, which has since gone 13-times Platinum. Pearl Jam — along with their friends in Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and Mudhoney — dominated the American soundscape for the early 90s, and became one of the most popular and most respected bands in rock n roll. They took on Ticketmaster, they stood up for the West Memphis 3, but they also wrote just some good tunes. PJ are still active to this day, having released over 10 albums and gaining the respect of everyone while touring pretty consistently. It all started with Ten, though. This vintage Pearl Jam long sleeve shirt, in great condition, is from the band's world tour and features art from their debut album Ten.
