Eddie Vedder was living in San Diego, CA when he joined Pearl Jam as their singer in 1990 after recording a cassette tape audition. One year later, the Seattle group recorded their debut album Ten, which has since got 13-times Platinum. Pearl Jam — along with their friends in Soundgarden, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and Mudhoney — dominated the American soundscape for the early 90s, and became one of the most popular and most respected bands in rock n roll. They took on Ticketmaster, they stood up for the West Memphis 3, but they also wrote just some good tunes. This vintage Pearl Jam single stitch shirt, lightly worn in great condition, is from the earliest era of the band, when Ten was just released before they were rock royalty.
