2001 was the sixth year of Ozzfest, the annual festival put on by Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne. The touring fest was already well-regarded for bringing some of heavy metals best names together for one huge show. The 2001 tour was the first year to feature international dates, which Ozzfest continued in future years. The lineup for that year included Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Mudvayne, Papa Roach, Soulfly, Black Label Society, Hatebreed, and many, many more.
