Vintage Oscar De La Hoya "WBC Welterweight Champion" T-Shirt

Oscar De La Hoya is a boxer from Los Angeles, CA. He began fighting professionally in 1992 after a very successful amateur career that included wins at the U.S. National Championships and the Goodwill Games. In 1996, De La Hoya took on Julio César Chávez for the WBC Welterweight title. Chávez had an impressive record of 96-1-1, but De La Hoya won with a TKO in the fourth round. De la Hoya would go on fighting for over a decade, ending his career with a total of 30 TKOs, no small feat.
