In 1996, the Summer Olympics were held in Atlanta, GA. It was a special year for the games, they were celebrating the 100th anniversary of the modern Olympics and it was also the fourth time the Olympics were held in the US. As the home team, the States performed exceedingly well. They won the most overall medals with 101 and also had the most gold medals, 44. A truly great showing. This original 1996 Olympics shirt, in great condition, celebrates America's team.
