Oldboy is a 2003 movie written and directed by Park Chan-wook. The movie was based on the Japanese manga and tells the story of Oh Dae-su, a man who thrown into prison for 15 years and seeks revenge after he's finally out. It won many significant and well-regarded prizes, including the Grand Prix at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. The film has gone on to be regarded as one of the finest pieces of modern cinema.
