Michael Jordan came to the University Of North Carolina in 1981. Jordan had grown up in Wilmington, so his decision to become a Tar Heel kept him close to home. During his tenure at UNC, Jordan helped lead the team to a National Championship in 1982 again Georgetown and was elected to the All American First Team as well as winning both the Naismith and the Wooden College Player Of The Year awards in his senior year. From there, MJ, of course, went on to the Chicago Bulls where he would become the best player in the history of the game, taking the team to two three-peat championships. This vintage Michael Jordan jersey, lightly worn with a few light marks in various areas, is from his time at the University of North Carolina.
