Vintage No Trend "New Releases" Flyer With Setlist

No Trend were an anti-hardcore band from Washington, DC suburb Ashton, MD founded in 1982. They stood in direct opposition to the DC scene at the time, being vocal about their distaste for the punk scene even though their music and appearance, and the way they operated the band, could be mistaken for punk. They operated their own label which was just called No Trend and released their own music, including 1983's Teen Love EP and 1984's Too Many Humans. They ultimately signed to Touch And Go and broke up in 1988 but they left a lasting impression on the scene, a satirical, nihilistic, noisy one. This original No Trend flyer, in great condition with a center crease as well as some yellowing as well as some general wear, advertises the label and band's early releases as well as their 1984 summer tour and features a handwritten setlist from the band from that era.
